He hopes to use his education to tell stories. He is confident in his ability to connect with the public and keep them informed in an accurate and professional manner. Seamus is passionate about communication and stories. In a world where it is becoming increasingly difficult to find reliable information, he understands the necessity of being reliable and accessible at the same time. He has practiced this both when doing news reporting, and documentary work for BCIT, as well as in his two years as Social Media Coordinator for the Triple Crown for Heart ride.

Seamus has learned to adapt to many different forms of work, including the high-intensity nature of a restaurant, more professional work as an intern at an animation studio, and in leadership as the employee of the year for a local farm market. After graduating from university, he decided to pursue journalism through BCIT. Seamus is a skilled writer and literary analysis. He also has a knack for video shooting and editing, as well as touting graphic design skills and experience. He is organized, works well with a team, and an excellent communicator. 

Seamus was born in Vancouver, Canada, but spent much of his childhood in Toronto, New Jersey, and New York. This has taught him to adapt to different areas with relative ease. He hopes to take this intrinsic knowledge and apply it wherever he can find work.
